The aim of the U3A Tawa is to provide low-cost educational and recreational opportunities for adults not in full-time employment who wish to learn in a social environment. Although primarily aimed at people in retirement, there is no age restriction.

No academic qualifications are required to participate, and no diplomas or other certificates are provided at the completion of courses.
The Latest:
The Annual General Meeting is at 12.00 PM to about 1.30 PM on
   Monday 16th January at the Tawa Bowling Club in Davies Street, Linden.
      All welcome including any prospective new members.
           Bring a plate of finger food for a shared lunch.

New members of the committee are elected at this January AGM.

can attend any U3A activity without any payment to see if U3A  classes are of interest.  After the first visit we invite you to become a member.
The membership fee is only $15 per year ($25 for couples)
